New Jersey Senator Cory Booker visited the Tijuana River Valley on Wednesday to witness firsthand the ongoing sewage crisis affecting the region. Accompanied by Imperial Beach Mayor Paloma Aguirre and Congressman Juan Vargas, Booker called for Washington to declare a national state of emergency to address the environmental disaster.
